Brief bio:
The Utah Jazz began life as a pro basketball team in 1974 in New Orleans. The team moved to Utah in 1979. Since the mid '80s, the Jazz have made the playoffs nearly every year. Karl Malone and John Stockton helped lead the Jazz to two NBA Finals in the 1990s. Superstars for the team now include Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams.
